EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach designed to help people process traumatic memories and experiences. This technique uses bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tactile pulses, to assist the brain in reprocessing distressing memories. EMDR has proven effective for trauma and PTSD, as well as other issues like anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges. Through EMDR, clients can reduce the emotional impact of traumatic memories and feel more in control of their reactions. I offer EMDR therapy in a safe, supportive environment, helping clients build resilience and find relief from painful experiences.
